New look

The new homepage has landed

A clearer, calmer homepage that gets customers to the useful stuff faster.

  • Updated In store, collection and delivery choices design.
  • The delivery-area checker opens in a focused pop-up and shows the useful details without leaving the homepage.
  • Opening hours now show a readable seven-day view, including delivery and collection cut-off times.
  • Blue now handles everyday actions, green marks ordering and positive information, and Pizza Planet red is reserved for the brand.

The delivery checker got street-smart

Postcode checks are more accurate and the answer is easier to understand.

  • Full UK postcodes are cleaned up and formatted automatically.
  • Customers can see the relevant delivery charge and minimum order in the result.
  • Addresses near the edge of the delivery area receive clearer guidance about what to do next.
  • The postcode field no longer grabs focus when the page loads.

The delivery and alcohol-purchase pages received a thoughtful tidy-up.

  • Long information broken into clearer sections with stronger headings.
  • Key actions and requirements are easier to spot on phones and larger screens.

Prepared menu refresh + images + more

Menu updates ready to launch later in the week with a refresh, product images added & new ice cream & shandy range added.

  • Cleared up DB controlled data system.
  • Removed 1,428 lines of redundant code.
  • Pushed images to menu pages.
  • Added new ice cream opens from Marshfield Farm.
  • Added new Shandy Shack range.
  • Reformatted cards, allergen detail locations + rewrote menu/pizzas js.
  • Caused great levels of hunger at 10am.
Infrastructure upgrade

Pushed new controllers to live server

Core system upgrade for future features and tidying up of existing models

  • Added new layer below public pages to prevent DB overload.
  • Removed redundant code from 31 files.
  • Began folder re-structure.
  • Added new track.pizza code ready to post-summer update.
  • Prepared tracking of collection status.
  • Upgraded Staff_Mapping backend for Driver app upgrade post-summer.
