Our premises licence is quite strict with what we must and must not do with regards to the sale of alcohol. We're publishing our requirements that relate to customers purchasing alcohol on our website. Copies of this are available in store and we can read them over the phone also, should you wish.

Alcohol can only be purchased by someone over 18 years old

It is a criminal offence for a person under 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol and it is also an offence to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18. You will be asked to declare that you understand this during a phone call. We are not allowed to skip the declaration process.

If any member of staff believes the person purchasing or receiving the delivered alcohol is under 18 or is purchasing alcohol for a person under the age of 18 they have the right to request to see photographic identification before any alcohol is passed over. We accept Passports, Driving Licences (EU photocard driving licences are accepted), and Photo ID cards bearing the PASS hologram.
